Tunable nonlinear absorption and optical limiting behavior of NaBi(MoxW1-xO4)2 single crystals with ratio of Molybdenum/Tungsten

Abstract The compositional effect of Mo/W ratio on linear, nonlinear absorption and optical limiting behavior the NaBi(Mo x W 1−x O 4 ) 2 single crystals grown by Czochralski technique was investigated. X-ray diffraction patterns studied presented well-defined peaks associated with tetragonal crystalline structure. performance threshold were determined using an open-aperture Z-scan technique. A theoretical model including one photon (OPA), two (TPA) free carrier used to determine parameters. All results showed that defect states, which strongly affect (NA) behaviors, can be tuned ratio, enabling in desired optoelectronic applications. Linear analysis revealed bandgap energy states changing crystal obtained all had NA coefficient decreased increasing ratio. Sequential TPA is main mechanism for these due fact incident light lower than energies existence real intermediate state around 2.32 eV.
